Learning through doing

The Activities of Daily Living (ADL) programme at Anugraha Foundation is rooted in a simple, powerful belief: every person, regardless of their ability, deserves the dignity of independence.

Through hands-on, structured activities, our participants learn practical life skills โ€” from tending a garden to preparing a meal โ€” that build confidence, routine, and a sense of purpose in everyday life.

Each session is tailored to the individual, building on their strengths and gently expanding their capabilities. Our trained staff guide participants with patience and encouragement, celebrating every milestone, however small.

Gardening

Participants learn to sow seeds, water plants, and tend to a garden. Gardening builds patience, responsibility, and a connection to the natural world โ€” while developing fine motor skills and sensory awareness.

Activities include: sowing seeds, watering routines, weeding, harvesting, and composting.
